Subway riders in Russia save elderly woman stuck between train and platform
When a 70-year-old woman in Moscow got stuck between a train car and the platform, fellow passengers turned into heroes when they took matters into their own hands — literally.
In a video posted to the Russian site LifeNews, dozens of riders are seen rocking the subway car back and forth. After only about 15 seconds, the woman was freed and taken to a hospital with a leg injury. Then, the riders are seen boarding the train and going about their normal day. According to eyewitnesses, the woman stumbled and slipped when exiting the train.
