'Suicide Squad' Actress Margot Robbie's Tattoo Typo
On The Late Show, actress Margot Robbie sat down with Tina Fey and Stephen Colbert. While they talked about Robbie’s adventurous spirit, the topic of her latest hobby, tattooing, came up — or, more specifically, a little tattoo snafu she experienced while filming Suicide Squad. “I did spell one wrong once, though, that was extremely awkward,” Robbie said. “I was writing a word and I spelled it wrong.”
While on set, all of the cast members got tattoos that read “Skwad.” The spelling of “squad” was on purpose, but Robbie, being the overachiever that she is, decided to take the misspelling one step further. “Everyone was spelling it as S-K-W-A-D,” explained Robbie. “But I went straight from the S to the W.” The receiver of said tattoo was fellow castmate Jai Courtney’s assistant Simon. Apparently he was totally OK with the typo —now, whether or not he kept that tattoo is a different story entirely.
