"I don't know how to snowboard,” 2 Chainz joked last night (Jan. 18) on stage headlining the evening’s edition of the concert series at Park City Live during Sundance 2014. “[I] don't know how to ski. I'm just talking s**t. I was raised in the trap." Bringing on as many laughs as he did cheers, Chainz and his lanky frame crouched a bit as if skiing down a snow-glazed mountain. Check him out doing just that while performing “Spend It”:
The Atlanta rhymer lit it up on Saturday, opening with his Kanye West collab “Mercy,” then moving on to his verse on Nicki Minaj’s “Beez in the Trap.”
Just moments before rapping in front of 400 fans at PCL, Billboard sat down with him backstage for an interview. Watch below:
Chainz is gearing up for his 2 Good 2 Be T.R.U. tour, which begins at the top of February. "I've never rehearsed before," he says. "This will be the first time I rehearse."
"This tour I try to add visual stimulation to go with what I already do," he continues.
At least 20 people screamed when Chainz asked the crowd if anyone is celebrating a birthday—a perfect segue to his smash “Birthday Song.” Watch below:
He didn’t really have to ask, but 2 Chainz wanted some confirmation that folks had a good time. "If you enjoyed this show, let me hear you say 'F*** yeah!'" And just like that, many F-bombs got tossed right back to him.
