    Sunday Shows: Romney Says U.S. Should Not Bail Out Europe

    On today’s Sunday shows, Mitt Romney weighed in on the eurozone crisis, which is likely to take center stage at this week's G-20 summit. Elsewhere, Arizona GOP Sen.     Romney Says U.S. Shouldn't Bail Out European Economy
    Mitt Romney said on Sunday that the U.S. should not take any steps to “bail out” the European economy, and that he hopes whatever happens there, “our banking sector is able to weather the storm.” His comments come in advance of this week's G-20 summit, at which the eurozone crisis is likely to take center stage.

    McCain: Obama Immigration Move a 'Distraction'
    Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., on Sunday joined the list of GOP critics of the Obama administration's shift in deporation policy, arguing that it's a political ploy to distract from the poor economy. But he said that Congress likely won't take any legislative steps to change the policy, and that it would have to be challenged in court.

    Santorum: Romney 'Trying to Walk a Line' on Immigration
    Rick Santorum on Sunday gave a lukewarm defense of Mitt Romney's response to the White House policy shift on immigration, asserting that Romney was trying to "walk a line" on immigration, so "as not to sound like he's hostile to Latinos."

    Both Parties Lack a Clear Path Forward on Health Care
    Though there's no shortage of debate over the merits and flaws of President Obama's health care reform law, Republican Sen. John Barrasso of Wyoming and Democratic Rep. Chris Van Hollen of Maryland could offer no clear plans to move forward if the law is thrown out.

    House Republican Proposes One-Year Solution to Fiscal Cliff
    Amid concerns that lawmakers will be unable to unite to prevent the U.S. economy from dropping off a looming fiscal cliff this fall, Georgia Rep. Tom Price, the chairman of the House's Republican Policy Committee suggested a solution: Punt the problem for a year.

    White House Senior Advisor David Plouffe on Sunday cast a scheduled appearance in Ohio by Mitt Romney with Speaker John Boehner as the GOP presidential candidate’s embrace of the congressional Republican economic agenda, saying Romney is "going to rubber-stamp" the policies of the congressional GOP.

    Lieberman Calls for Special Counsel on Leaks
    A special counsel -- which Sen. Joe Lieberman, I-Conn., said "were created for a situation like this" -- should investigate leaks of national security secrets to avoid an appearance of a conflict of interest, he said on Sunday.
