Super Bowl 50: Watch Coldplay, Beyoncé & Bruno Mars in a psychedelic halftime performance

It was equal parts corny, underwhelming and Beyoncé.

Super Bowl 50's highly-anticipated halftime show began with Coldplay performing a medley of their greatest hits from "Viva La Vida," "Paradise" and "Adventure of a Lifetime." It was colorful, psychedelic and a true celebration of band geeks.

Bruno Mars then made a quick appearance singing a few bars of "Uptown Funk" before Beyoncé — in a moment of much needed energy — stormed the field singing her new, black activism anthem "Formation." For a moment we were all transported back to 2013.

Before long, Bey and Bruno were locked in a dance/face off before handing thing's back to Chris Martin for a celebratory video montage of halftime performances from the past five decades set to Coldplay's "Fix You."

It doesn't matter how you felt about it though, because Taylor Swift loved it.
