Super Mario Run for Android finally has an official release timeframe

If you’re an Android user dying to play Nintendo’s popular Super Mario Run game, you should be happy to hear that Nintendo has finally announced release timing for the Mario game that’s currently only available on iPhone and iPad.

Don't Miss: The iPhone 8’s display design might be far superior to the Galaxy S8

Super Mario Run for Android will launch at some point in March, Nintendo said on its Twitter account. There’s no firm release date for the game, and you still have to wait a couple of months to get it. But the Android version is coming. Finally.

If you want to be notified when the game launches, you can already register on the Google Play store — just like iPhone users did while waiting for the game to be released.

The iOS game is available as a free download from the App Store but only lets players go through a few levels. To unlock it, you need to pay a one-time $9.99 fee. It’s likely the Android version will see a similar pricing structure.

According to Reuters, more than 40 million Super Mario Run downloads were registered in just four days following the game’s December 15th release. That’s a huge number, but not necessarily good news for Nintendo. Analysts estimated that less than one in 10 people who downloaded the game for free have gone ahead and paid the $9.99 required to unlock all of its features.

It looks like I am one of the nine out of 10 people who opted not to buy the full game, and I soon deleted it. Meanwhile, there must be plenty of Mario fans who’re still excited about this endless runner game — so here are a few tips for you.
