Italian brand Superga has teamed up with fashion designer Marta Ferri for a very merry Christmas edition of its model “2750 Classic.”

Available starting today for 129 euros, or about $137 at current exchange rate, in selected stores and via the brand’s e-commerce platform, the shoes come in two colors, Christmassy red and green, and feature golden eyelets, brown cotton laces and a brown vulcanized rubber sole.

“For this capsule collection I chose upholstery fabrics, which always have been the focus of my work,” said Marta Ferri, adding that the textiles feature an Alpine-Tyrolean background, in line with the Christmas theme characterizing the entire collection. “Depending on the positioning of the fabric, the shoe fantasy changes, it’s fun to find various miniature of skis and chalets on every model,” she added.

This is not the first venture into the shoe world for Ferri, specializes in the production of tailored clothing with innovative fabrics. Previously she collaborated with Milan based shoe brand Fragiacomo and German shoe manufacturer Birkenstock for capsule collections.

Superga North America has also been busy with collaborations this year, most recently teaming up with Spanish-American artist Domingo Zapata. The co-branded collection of sneakers is set to hit stores next month.

For the line, Zapata replicated his well-known works onto the canvas of classic Superga sneakers. The collection includes 11 styles for women, men and kids that were inspired by his original paintings, some of which include Panda Matrix, Mixed Media and Wonder Flowers, Acrylic on Canvas 2013.
