Survey: Gas prices up 2 cents in a week in RI
AAA: Gas prices up 2 cents in a week in RI, 12 cents higher than US average, down since 2013
PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) -- Gasoline prices have edged up by 2 cents a gallon in the past week in Rhode Island.
AAA Southern New England said Monday the average price for self-serve, regular unleaded increased to $3.48 per gallon.
The price has fallen since last year when the average price was 31 cents a gallon higher, at $3.79 a gallon.
The survey says gas prices ranged from $3.41 to $3.61 a gallon.
