SVU Vet Danny Pino to Co-Star in CBS' Comic-Thriller BrainDead
After upholding the laws for years on Cold Case and SVU, Danny Pino now will be the one making them.
The actor is set to co-star on BrainDead, CBS’ upcoming comic-thriller from Good Wife creators Robert and Michelle King.

Slated for Summer 2016, the series centers on Laurel (Mary Elizabeth Winstead, A&E’s The Returned), a fresh-faced Capitol Hill staffer who discovers two things at her first job in Washington, D.C.: The government has stopped working, and alien spawn have come to Earth and eaten the brains of a growing number of congressmen and Hill staffers.
Per our sister site Deadline, Pino will play Luke, the Democratic Whip Senator from Maryland and Laurel’s older brother.
In addition to his turns as SVU‘s Nick Amaro and Cold Case‘s Scotty Valens, Pino’s TV credits include The Shield, Burn Notice and Chicago P.D.
