SwiftKey Note review

SwiftKey Note leverages the technology found in the SwiftKey keyboard to deliver a quick, predictive note-taking solution to iOS. Thanks to the Evernote integration, the notes you take can be viewed on all devices that the service supports as well as on the Web.

Pros

Notebook and tag support: Like any good notes app, SwiftKey Note comes with the ability to create custom notebooks and has tagging support.

Evernote integration: This brings you two benefits: a cloud solution for backing up and sharing your notes, and a way for SwiftKey to function more effectively by analyzing your existing notes for writing patterns.

Statistics: The app includes a statistics screen where you can see things like how your typing efficiency has improved and how many strokes you've saved so far.

Cons

No iCloud, Google Drive, or Dropbox support: The app currently has Evernote as its exclusive partner, which means that if you want to access your notes through multiple devices, you have to sign up for its service.

Bottom Line

Due to Apple's restrictive model up to iOS 7, software like SwiftKey Note has had to confine itself to a single app. iOS 8, however, brings the ability to create third-party systemwide keyboards, which means this app can fully integrate with the system, enabling you to use its technology outside the app itself. It's an app well worth having, especially if you use Evernote.
