Sword and cash seized by police in drug raids

A sword and thousands of pounds in cash has been seized after six people were arrested over drugs offences in Brixham, police have said.

Devon and Cornwall Police said it raided several properties on Wednesday as part of an ongoing investigation into the supply of Class A drugs in the area.

Officers said four men, aged 23, 27, 28 and 30, and two women, aged 19 and 23, were arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of a controlled drug.

All were released on bail pending further inquiries, police said.

The force said 15 separate premises and vehicles in Torbay were searched.
