What a shame for the Western press! While the situation in Syria is horrific, it is clear that there are no "Good Guys" and no "Bad Guys". What you have are two factions fighting for power...if you arm the government side, there will be more killings. If you arm the disjointed, multi-purpose opposition, there will be more killings and then they will start killing each other to gain power for their individual goals. This is like Lebanon from 1975-1980, a horrible civil war that killed hundreds of thousands.The talking heads on the tv have no answers and neither do the surrounding countries. Oh, where is John Wayne when you need him!
