Syrians picked up in Honduras seeking jobs, no terrorism links: source

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The group of Syrians detained in Honduras this week so far appear to have no known connection to terrorism and were seeking jobs in nearby Guatemala, a U.S. government source told Reuters on Thursday. The source, who asked not to be named, said current information indicated that the Syrians were not headed to the United States but instead were in search of employment in Guatemala.
