AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy Note gets Ice Cream Sandwich

The slow roll out of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich continues as the Samsung Galaxy Note on AT&T will be getting the ICS upgrade treatment on Tuesday along with a “Premium Suite” of Note-specific features designed by Samsung to take advantage of the phablet’s stylus capabilities. Upgrading the Galaxy Note will be huge in helping Google boost the number of Android devices running on Ice Cream Sandwich as the Note has proven to be one of the surprise hits of the year so far, selling in excess of 7 million units to date. CNET got a sneak peak at Android 4.0 on the Note and called the upgrade “subtle, but useful.”
