The two are accused in the 2020 death of Major Bailey. An autopsy found bruising on his forehead and bleeding on the brain.

At a hearing last year, one of the couple’s other young children reported seeing Mister Bailey repeatedly slap Major, pick him up and slam him on a bed.

According to court documents, Ring videos captured Mister Bailey physically abusing children in the home.

In one video, dated the night of Dec. 19, 2020, Mister Bailey picks up Major, yells in his face then throws him across the bed, where he lands face first, according to the documents. Martinez stood in the doorway and laughed, the reports say.

Within days of Major’s death, Mister Bailey’s internet history showed searches for, “How to poison yourself fast,” “How to tell if the police are tapping your cell phone,” and “Great defense attorney for domestic violence and things to do with kids kern county,” according to the documents.
