NAPERVILLE, Ill. (AP) — Communications equipment maker Tellabs Inc. said Monday that CEO Rob Pullen has died of cancer.
In a statement, Tellabs Chairman Michael Birck said Pullen died on Monday. The company announced in April that Pullen, 50, was being treated for colon cancer. He had worked for Tellabs since January 1985 and became CEO in February 2008.
Birck said acting President and CEO Dan Kelley continues to lead the company.
