Texans WR Johnson expected to start

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson is expected to start Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.

Johnson was previously considered a game-time decision by coach Gary Kubiak because he had been limited in practice this week due to a shin bruise.

After missing Wednesday's practice, Johnson returned Thursday but was a limited participant. Kubiak said Johnson had a strong practice Friday and expects him in the starting lineup.

Left tackle Duane Brown did not practice Friday because of a toe strain. He practiced on a limited basis Thursday but said he hoped to play. He missed last Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. He is considered a game-time decision.
