Texas Book Festival sets event in San Antonio

DALLAS (AP) — The Texas Book Festival is set to hold one-day events in San Antonio and Dallas next year.

Texas Book Festival, held annually in October at Texas Capitol in Austin, announced Tuesday that it will partner with the San Antonio Public Library Foundation to present the San Antonio Edition on April 13.

Details have not yet been released on the Dallas event.

The free event in San Antonio, part of the celebrations of the San Antonio Public Library Foundation's 30th anniversary, will be held at the San Antonio Central Library and neighboring Southwest School of Art. Fifty Texas and national authors are expected to participate.

The Texas Book Festival in Austin features readings and discussions from more than 250 Texas and national authors and counts more than 40,000 participants.
