Textura raises $86.3 million in IPO as banks managing deal buy up extra shares

DEERFIELD, Ill. (AP) -- Software maker Textura Corp. said Wednesday that its initial public offering of stock has closed and raised $86.3 million, as the banks managing the deal bought up extra shares.

The provider of project management software for the construction industry sold 5.8 million shares for $15 each, including the additional 750,000 shares bought by the banks.

The company began trading Friday on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol "TXTR."

Shares dipped 2 cents to $20.79 Wednesday. They're up 39 percent from the IPO price.
