That's Rather Hideous: This Brown-Carpeted Home is '1 of a Kind,' Indeed

Curbed New Orleans

A tipster passed along the listing for this "1 of a kind home" located off of Chef Menteur Highway in Venetian Isles, and boy howdy, is it a doozy. For starters, there's not a single good photo in the bunch, so be prepared for close-ups of Dijon mustard-colored bathroom vanities and cropped bedrooms shots. What comes with the six-bedroom, three-bath home? All of the brown carpet one can dream of (bathroom included!), cathedral ceilings with "angelic beams," "Spanish chandeliers" that could use a good dusting, and a rather strange "Spanish arched patio with wrought iron gates & glass roof." The listing says the 4,786-square-foot digs is newly renovated, so take that for what it's worth. One perk, the house is on a waterway, which sort of justifies the $365,000 ask. Sort of.
