But 2014 wasn’t all fireworks and skydiving—though there certainly was plenty of that. In addition to the world’s fastest golf cart, we watched a few harrowing tropical storms, a helicopter crash, and a seven-story apartment complex spanning an entire block in downtown Los Angeles go up in flames.
