Third person arrested in connection with Northeast Side fatal shooting

A third person has been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting that took place outside a Northeast Side home earlier this month.

Sheleeah Foggie, 32, was arrested Wednesday by Columbus police. Franklin County Municipal Court records show Foggie is charged with murder.

Court records said that around 12:05 a.m. on April 9, 24-year-old Dedrick Robinson and another man were outside a home on the 2700 block of Brentnell Avenue. Robinson and the other man had firearms and were yelling at the people inside the home, court records said.

Foggie, Kiante Lee, 27, and Terrell Thomas, 29, came out of the home and began exchanging gunfire with the two men outside, court records said.

At least one gunshot struck Robinson, who was taken to an area hospital and died a short time later.

Court records said video evidence of the shooting was recovered as part of the investigation.

Lee and Thomas are each facing charges of aggravated murder, murder, attempted murder and felonious assault, according to court records.

Foggie's bond was set at $1 million during a hearing in Franklin County Municipal Court Thursday morning.
