Three 6 Mafia rapper Koopsta Knicca has reportedly passed away following a brain aneurysm he suffered earlier this week. On Tuesday, Three 6 Mafia's DJ Paul confirmed news of Knicca's aneurysm on Instagram, writing, "Dr. said we need a miracle & i believe in those so lets get one for my brother yall!!!" Paul added, "Koop is the same age as Lord," referencing his own brother and fellow Three 6 Mafia rapper Lord Infamous who passed away in 2013 at the age of 40.
Tonight, Paul shared news that Knicca had passed away. The Memphis legend shared an Instagram post in tribute of his fallen Three 6 Mafia cohorts, writing of Knicca and Infamous, "Yall back together brothers!" Former Three 6 Mafia members Gangsta Boo and Juicy J shared their own rememberence on Twitter.
