Thunder 92, Bucks 79

MILWAUKEE -- Guard Russell Westbrook scored 26 points and forward Kevin Durant had 24 as the Oklahoma City Thunder snapped a two-game losing streak with a 92-79 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Forward Serge Ibaka chipped in 15 points with a career-high 20 rebounds and guard Reggie Jackson added 11 off the bench for the Thunder.

Oklahoma City (6-3) broke open a close game with a 16-6 run late in the third quarter -- with seven points coming from Westbrook -- and built a seven-point lead heading into the fourth.

Milwaukee (2-7) shot below 40 percent for the second straight night, making 30 of 86 shots from the field went 8-for-22 on 3-pointers.

Guard O.J. Mayo led the offense with 22 points while forward Khris Middleton added 14. Forward Epke Udoh finished with 11 points and 11 rebounds and forward John Henson came off the bench to score 10.

Rookie forward Giannis Antetokounmpo blocked two shots and redirected a handful of others in the first half as Milwaukee shot 37 percent from the field but was tied at halftime, 40-40, as the Thunder shot 31 percent and was 2-of-9 on 3-point attempts despite 11 points from Westbrook and nine from Durant.

Back-to-back 3-pointers from guard Khris Middleton and Mayo tied the game at 56 with 5:17 left in the third, part of a 13-5 Milwaukee run. Mayo added another from long-range, putting Milwaukee ahead with 4:34 left in the quarter before the Thunder took over.

The Bucks challenged in the fourth, drawing within four on a Mayo 3-pointer that made it 77-73 with 6:11 to play but Milwaukee made just one field goal -- a 3-pointer by Middleton -- and went 3-of-4 from the line the rest of the way to lose for the sixth time in seven games, including five in a row.
