Alec Baldwin alluded to a possible early exit from "30 Rock" on Thursday, Tweeting, "I think I'm leaving NBC just in time" -- consequently placing series creator/star Tina Fey squarely on the hot seat regarding a potential impending close for the award-winning comedy.
However, despite Alec's cryptic Tweet, Tina says Jack Donaghy is not packing up his attache case just yet.
"As far as I know, [Alec] is not leaving the show. We're all in this together 'til the end," Tina said on "The View" on Thursday. "I think that he just maybe means that the end of the show -- we're in six years -- that the end of the show is visible on the horizon."
Adding, "We're all still on the show."
"View" co-host Barbara Walters was less than pleased with Tina's admission that the sun may soon be setting on the hit series, but the "Saturday Night Live" alum said when the show ends, it will be for the best.
"We can't do this for 35 years," Tina said with a smile. "We'd love to keep going and see where everybody ends up, right? But you don't want to see me with a gray stripe, eating a slice of pizza, going on dates!"
"30 Rock" airs Thursdays at 8:30/7:30c on NBC.
