Toll rises in Cameroon suicide bombing to 19 dead, 143 wounded

DOUALA, Cameroon (Reuters) - The death toll in a double suicide bombing on Thursday in the northern Cameroon town of Kerawa has risen to 19 dead and 143 wounded, a senior local government official said. One bomb went off near an army camp in the Far North region and another hit a market. Cameroon is part of a regional coalition fighting Islamic militant group Boko Haram, which has waged an insurgency in northern Nigeria for six years and attacked neighbouring states.
