Tool time: ‘Home Improvement’ actor arrested for DUI, drug possession [VIDEO]
Taran Noah Smith, the actor who played Mark Taylor on the classic ’90s TV series “Home Improvement,” was arrested early on Wednesday morning under suspicion of driving under the influence.
Los Angeles County police officers pulled Smith over and found a large quantity of marijuana, TMZ reports.
He has has not acted since “Home Improvement” ended after eight seasons in 1999, according to IMDB.
Smith, who played the youngest son of Tim Allen’s character, is a regular chip off the old block.
In 1978, Allen was arrested in the Kalamazoo/ Battle Creek Airport for possession of 1.4 pounds of cocaine, and later plead guilty to drug trafficking charges. The convictions could have carried a life sentence, but Allen gave up the names of other drug dealers and served just two and a half years in prison.
Allen was arrested again in 1997 in Birmingham, Mich., for driving under the influence.
