In Season 6, Ali Fedotowsky was dumped by Frank in Tahiti — and today at No. 8 in ABC’s Best Bachelor Moments countdown, Season 9 Bachelorette Desiree Hartsock endures a brutal breakup with finalist Brooks in Antigua. Though Desiree thought she had made it clear to Brooks earlier in the season that she loved him — using a homemade code involving the terms “skipping,” “running,” and “the finish line” — the salesman from Utah just wasn’t feeling it, a fact he finally managed to communicate in part 1 of the finale.
Miraculously, Desiree managed to bounce back and fall madly in love with another finalist, Chris Siegfried, to whom she is now married. Ain’t reality TV love grand?
