    You ought to get active (YOGA)! Yoga is an excellent form of exercise with numerous benefits to the mind and body.

    Enhance your lifestyle with these pre-yoga items. They will combine to help you find a place of tranquility and nirvana.

    #1 Lavender scented eye pillows

    Use lavender scented eye pillows for sweet sleep. Wake up relaxed, rejuvenated and ready for yoga. Lavender eye pillows may promote REM (rapid eye movement) sleep. In addition, they can ease mild headaches, anxiety and insomnia.

    Lavender is used in aromatherapy to promote relaxation. It has a mellow and sweet floral scent. Yoga and aromatherapy both promote inner peace.

    #2 Lavender scented silk neck pillow

    Silk neck pillows promote comfortable sleep. They can be purchased unscented or with the scent of lavender. The all natural buckwheat filling harmonizes with your shape, so the weight of the head is distributed evenly.

    #3 Zen alarm clock

It helps clear congestion, and it keeps the nasal passages open. Neti also aids in defeating the negative effects of arid air, dust and pollen.

    To practice neti, purchase a ceramic neti pot. This pot includes one packet of French Atlantic Sea Salt that comes from the pure waters of Brittany, France. This is a supreme form of salt.

    #5 Aroma ring with lavender oil

    The aroma ring with lavender oil will add to the yoga experience and ambiance. Aroma rings are simply placed on a light bulb, making them ideal for home and travel. The heat from the bulb disperses the soothing scent of lavender. This will aid in relaxing the mind, body and soul. It will also help create a state of nirvana.

    Enjoy yoga for relaxation, weight loss and flexibility. Not all yoga workouts are created equal, so practice several forms. I enjoy one type of yoga for relaxation and another for a total body workout.
