Top new tech products: DSLR for astrophotographers, Star Wars-themed Xbox 360 Kinect, eco-friendly smartphone

High-tech product releases announced the week ending April 4 include a DSLR that can take photos of stars in the sky, a video game console pack for Star Wars fans, an eco-friendly Android smartphone and tangle-free wireless earbuds.

A DSLR camera built for taking pictures of the stars
The Canon EOS 60Da is not like other digital SLRs, it’s optimized for astrophotographers. It has a modified infrared filter and a low-noise sensor with heightened hydrogen-alpha sensitivity (approximately three times higher than that of a normal Canon DSLR camera) to make it possible to capture photographs of "red hydrogen emission" nebulae and other cosmic phenomena. The Canon EOS 60Da comes with an 18MP CMOS sensor and a 3” LCD flip-out screen. The EOS 60Da is available later this month for $1,499.
