Former Khmer Rouge prison warden Duch asked for release on the last day of his war crimes trial in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. His lawyer confirmed Duch, whose real name is Kaing Guek Eav, asked to be released, arguing he wasn't a senior member in the Khmer Rouge chain of command, the BBC reported Friday.
