NEW YORK (AP) -- Shares of some top oil companies were mixed at the close of trading: Chevron rose $.11 or .1 percent, to $77.37. ConocoPhillips fell $.43 or .8 percent, to $50.66. Exxon Mobil fell $.52 or .7 percent, to $69.17. Marathon Oil fell $.20 or .6 percent, to $31.25.
A ConocoPhillips pipeline was shut Monday after it spilled an estimated 1,200 barrels of petroleum products near Billings, Mont., according to regulators and a company spokesman.
