(RTTNews) - The British pound staged a sharp fall against its European and Swiss counterparts by about 1:15 am ET Friday. Currently, the pound is trading at a 4-day low of 0.8971 against the euro and 1.6862 against the franc, compared to yesterday's closing values 1.6890 of and 0.8957, respectively.
