CHANTILLY, Va. - Customs inspectors at Dulles International Airport say a man from Guatemala was detained after he tried to carry a cooked chicken stuffed with more than $4,000 worth of cocaine.

An traveler arriving at Dulles Airport early this morning from El Salvador is in jail this morning after Customs and Border Protection officers took a closer look at the fully cooked chicken he was carrying. Inside was $4,300 worth of cocaine.

SAN SALVADOR, EL Salvador—A strong earthquake has rocked El Salvador and parts of Guatemala, but no there were no immediate reports of injuries or damage in either country. The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake had a preliminary magnitude of 5.9. The USGS says it hit 31 miles (51 kilometers) southwest of Sonsonate, El Salvador.
