VIRGINIA BEACH One adult and four children were taken to a hospital this morning after high levels of carbon monoxide were created by a portable generator inside their home. Firefighters were called to the home in the 1000 block of Kenya Lane about 12:20 a.m., said Battalion Chief Tim Riley. The generator was being under a home that didn't have power.
