Dec. 7 (Bloomberg) -- India’s benchmark stock index fell for a second day, led by metal producers as commodity prices declined. The Bombay Stock Exchange’s Sensitive Index, or Sensex , declined 102.91, or 0.6 percent, to 16,998.63 at 2:17 p.m. in Mumbai.
