The official tally of the Nov. 3 election has turned a losing northeast Ohio school issue into a winner. Euclid schools' $40.3 million construction bond issue won by 75 votes. On election night, it appeared to have lost by 44 votes, but that didn't include some provisional and absentee ballots. The money will be used to build four new elementary schools. WKSU's M.L. Schultze reports.

MAYFIELD HEIGHTS -- City Council passed a resolution Monday urging the state to place a moratorium on oil and gas well drilling in heavily populated residential areas. Council unanimously approved the measure, effective until any amendments to the Ohio Revised Code regarding drilling have been made that restore local control and remove mandatory pooling.
