Voter turnout was huge for the 2008 Election last Tuesday, Nov. 4. Wright County had a 98.45 percent voter turnout. As of 7 a.m. Tuesday, Wright County had 66,781 registered voters, and at the close of the polling places 65,749 ballots had been cast, reports County Auditor-Treasurer Bob Hiivala.
