( World Journal of Gastroenterology ) A research team from Taiwan elucidated etiologic associations between Helicobacter pylori, lifestyle, environmental factors and gastric cardiac adenocarcinoma (GCA) among men. They found that working or exercising after meals and H. pylori infection increase the risk of GCA, but higher intakes of rice, fresh vegetables and fruits reduce the risk.

(RTTNews) - Taiwan's M2 money supply increased 7.28% year-on-year in October, slower than the 8.28% growth in the previous month, the central bank said on Wednesday. This was mainly due to higher base effect compared to the previous year. Economists expected an increase of 4.8% for October.
