AUSTIN – Gov. Rick Perry named Esperanza “Hope” Andrade of San Antonio Texas’ 107th Secretary of State.

AUSTIN, TEXAS (KXAN) -- The Austin City Council adopted the fiscal year 2008-2009 budget schedule and set public hearings to receive public comment on the budget. Public hearings will be 6 p.m. Aug. 7, Aug. 21 and Aug. 28. Budget adoption is set for Sept. 8-10.
