Toronto's Kulemin out at least 2 weeks

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be without forward Nikolai Kulemin for at least two weeks with a bone chip in his ankle after blocking a shot in practice Friday.

Team doctors put Kulemin in a walking boot to prevent further injury.

Kulemin, a former 30-goal scorer, is coming off a down season where he scored just seven goals and 16 assists in the lockout-shortened year.

Spencer Abbott was recalled from AHL Toronto to take his place on the roster.
