Tractor-trailer fire on I-440 blocks eastbound traffic near Clinton National Airport

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Travel lanes on Interstate 440 in near the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport are now open after they were blocked due to a tractor-trailer fire Thursday morning.

Officials with the Arkansas Department of Transportation reported the fire just after 6:40 a.m. In an update, ARDOT officials said that the on-ramp from the airport is blocked.

Traffic cameras show that the fire has been contained.

Officials have not released any information on possible injuries or the cause of the fire at this time.
