Tractor-trailer hauling hay catches fire in Dauphin County

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) — Multiple emergency crews were on the scene of a tractor-trailer fire on U.S. 22 eastbound in Dauphin County on Wednesday morning.

The fire was located near the exit to PA 39 – Linglestown.

According to the responding fire crews, the tractor-trailer was hauling hay. When they arrived, fire crews said police advised them that the fire started as a brake fire and then spread to the trailer.

Crews remain in the area cleaning up the truck.
