Kenya and Tanzania have both recently raised park fees and rising gas prices have impacted travel prices negatively. In addition, rising inflation has added to the pressures on tour operators and accommodation providers; all of which is reflected in the prices paid by travel consumers.

    Odyssey Safaris is offering and 8 day 7 night safari with the following safari itinerary:

    Day 1: Arrive and overnight Nairobi.


    Day 2-3: Amboseli National Park.


    Day 4: Lake Nakuru National Park.


    Day 5: Lake Naivasha.


    Day 6-7: Masai Mara National Reserve


    Day 8: Morning game drive and then depart for Nairobi.

    Prices for this safari are all inclusive and scaled based on the number of travelers on the tour.

    “The more travelers we have on a group safari the lower our operating costs per traveler because some of these operating costs are shared; we use scaled pricing to pass these savings onto our customers. The first travelers who sign up for this safari will expect to pay one price, but as additional travelers sign up they will pay a lesser price when full payment is due ,” said Safari Operations Director Eliud Karimi said.
