KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia (AP) — Viktor Troicki reached the Malaysian Open semifinals by beating Dmitry Tursunov of Russia 6-4, 6-4 Friday.

The second-seeded Serb failed to serve out the match at 5-2 in the second set but held on for victory at Putra Stadium. Earlier this year, Troicki reached the final in Sydney and the semifinals in Rotterdam, but lost both.
