Tropical Storm Karen should near northern Gulf Coast Saturday -NHC

(Reuters) - Tropical storm Karen, the 11th named storm of the 2013 Atlantic hurricane season, was expected to approach the northern U.S. Gulf Coast on Saturday, the U.S. National Hurricane Center said in its latest bulletin. Karen was located about 430 miles south of the mouth of the Mississippi River packing maximum sustained winds near 65 miles per hour (100 km per hour). (Reporting by Shrutee Sarkar in Bangalore)
