Truck fire closes I-65 southbound in Marshall County

MARSHALL COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – Interstate 65 southbound at mile marker 33 in Marshall County is closed after a tractor trailer caught fire.

The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) said the fire was reported at around 1:40 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5. All southbound lanes of I-65 are closed while authorities work to put out the fire and clear the roadway.

Drivers are asked to find an alternate route if possible.
