    Turbine Interactive Launches Omaha Education Association Website

    Omaha Education Association offers dynamic online educator resources

    Omaha, NE (PRWEB) January 31, 2012

    Turbine Interactive announced the launch of a new website for the company’s client, the Omaha Education Association (OEA). The site offers educators and supporters of education a robust online resource for information and support of area teachers, administrators and advocates. The new site includes many new online resources that allow education supporters to research, communicate and run events.

    In addition to creating the concept for the website and building it using Turbine Interactive design and programming expertise, the staff at Turbine used digital marketing services to create a strategy that leads potential users to the website. Once there, users can access a rich variety of resources, including online registration for committees, online scholarship applications, printable nomination forms for awards, links to other state and national education-related websites, a blog, map and calendar of events. Many of the resources are accessible only by members in a “Members Only” section of the site, which is designed to offer security and privacy to members.

    “The association wanted to reach new members and communicate more effectively with their current members," Turbine President Jason Petersen explained. "The new website offers a great user experience, keeps users interested in the content, and assists with the many activities designed to nurture Omaha area education institutions.”

    Before creating the Nebraska-based and Omaha-based education website, OEA staff members engaged in a unique strategic planning process with Turbine Interactive. The process helped the OEA identify ways to reach members and others who support the OEA vision: to close the gap and raise achievement of all students.

    "As we worked with the Omaha Education Association, we were able to marry our expertise with their passion and create a powerful tool,” Petersen said. “This new website allows members to collaborate, share ideas and work together toward the fulfillment of their mission."
