John Stamos is (literally) about to charm the pants off JoAnna Garcia Swisher.
The Astronaut Wives Club actress will guest-star on Fox’s freshman fall comedy Grandfathered, which stars Stamos as a lifelong bachelor who discovers he’s got a son and granddaughter.

Per EW.com, Swisher will play Sloan, a cute and bubbly admissions officer at a prestigious preschool where Stamos’ Jimmy hopes to enroll his granddaughter, Edie. After Jimmy hooks up with Sloan, it causes complications with Edie’s admission prospects.
Grandfathered bows Tuesday, Sept. 29, at 8/7c.

* Former Dancing With the Stars emcee Brooke Burke-Charvet will co-host the Miss America competition alongside The Bachelor‘s Chris Harrison on Sunday, Sept. 13, at 9/8c on ABC, the pageant tweeted Friday.
* Bryana Salaz, who competed on Season 7 of The Voice, has been cast as a series regular in Fox’s Urban Cowboy pilot, a modern reimagining of the 1980 John Travolta film. According to Deadline, Salaz will play Anita, the sister of Alfonso Herrera’s Kyle, who flees with her brother to the United States after he upsets a Mexican drug cartel.
