Zipper creator Gideon Sundback has been honored with a Google Doodle on the 132nd anniversary of his birth.

“Unzip our homepage as we honor the inventor of the zipper, Gideon Sundback in one of our more elaborate doodles yet!” tweeted Google VP of Local, Maps & Location Services Marissa Mayer.

Tweeps are going crazy over a video in which American R&B singer Brian McKnight claims he is thinking about writing an adults-only mixtape and gives users a preview of the sexually charged song “If You’re Ready to Learn.”

“Is Brian McKnight serious?” ask microbloggers while others tweet “Dear Brian McKnight, your ability to do that whole vid with the most gleeful smile on your face disturbs me. Please, say it was a dare.”

The sexually charged chatter continues on the microblog with the number one term “#TwitterSex.”

Korean record label SM Entertainment has released the re-recorded version of “Dear My Family” from the soundtrack to the forthcoming movie “I AM” along with a behind-the-scenes music video.

Spanish speaking Twitter users have declared today the day of Mexican actor Mario Almada (“#MartesDeMarioAlmada”) while fans of American pop singer Greyson Chance are letting him know they are proud of him with the sixth place term “Enchancers Are Proud Of Greyson.”

Tweeps are also wishing 14-year-old model and actress Alli Simpson a happy birthday and reminiscing about One Direction’s performance of the song “Total Eclipse of the Heart.”
